Color from 2011 == Joost from 2007?
Something that seems to get everybody reacting is color. So I'm not gonna be an exception.
I tried the app, there is something behind it that I like but I'm not sure what. It seems a bit elitist though. it's snappy and good looking. I got some concerns about the user experience itself but may be I like things too simple.
As everybody is talking about the exorbitant round they raised, I'm not chocked. I actually don't care.
However, I find interesting that I keep thinking about joost whenever I read or play with color.
- All star team for joost, All star team for color.
- Colorful logo for color (sic!), colorful logo for joost (at least in the early days).
- Great technology for color, great technology for joost
- Awkward user experience for color, same for joost in the early days.
- Sequoia founded both companies.
Let see where that takes us.
