Judge the state of a web company with their API

I have been playing a lot with different API lately. The integration with whatever I was doing came down to:
  1. 3 lines of code and 10 minutes integration for:
  1. Disqus
  2. Facebook
  3. Wordpress
  • too many lines of code to count and 1/2 week integration for:
    1. blogger
    2. typepad
    3. opensocial
    I think it gives a pretty good picture of the state of the companies behind those properties.
